Justin Timberlake has been tearin’ up his fans’ hearts ever since he confirmed there was more *NSYNC music on the way. Now, we finally have a snippet of what’s to come.
On Wednesday, the 43-year-old singer shared a clip on Instagram of the band’s upcoming song, “Paradise,” off his forthcoming album, Everything I Thought It Was.
“‘Cause I waited, I’ve been waiting forever / Right here for this moment / Between you and I,” the group sings on the ballad. “Everything is happening and it’s just what I imagined / I imagined it would feel like paradise / You know I’d give anything to be the only one / Just look at us, we’re right here where we belong / And it was written ’cause the stars said I was yours.”

ROLLING STONE: Justin Timberlake Confirms New ‘NSync Single on ‘Everything I Thought It Was’ Track List
‘NSync fans might want to sit down for this one. After teasing a possible collaboration on TikTok last week, Justin Timberlake has confirmed that he has linked up with his former bandmates on a new track for his upcoming album Everything I Thought It Was. The new track is called “Paradise” and is the second to last song on the album.
In the cheeky TikTok video, a fan asked him to blink twice to confirm if ‘NSync is on a song called “Paradise,” and Timberlake pulled his sunglasses down to oblige.
“Paradise” marks the band’s second single that they’ve teamed up on recently, following “Better Place” from Trolls Band Together soundtrack — their first in more than two decades.
The band — Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Timberlake, and J.C. Chasez — reunited at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards to present the first award of the night, Best Pop, to Taylor Swift. It was the first time they had all appeared together publicly since they earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018.
Timberlake’s sixth studio album arrives on March 15 via RCA. It’s his first since 2018’s Man of the Woods. So far, the singer has shared two singles, “Selfish” and “Drown.” Beyond the ‘NSync collab, the 18-track set includes “Liar” featuring Fireboy DML and Tobe Nwigwe on “Sanctified.” The track list was revealed via Spotify, which is also hosting a countdown to the album’s release and where the album can be pre-saved.
The singer also embarks on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour this spring, which kicks off April 29 in Vancouver, Canada.

People: Liam Payne Shares New Single ‘Teardrops’ — Written Alongside *NSYNC’s JC Chasez!
Liam Payne‘s latest single is the product of a studio session with a fellow boybander… but not any of the guys you may be thinking of!
On Friday, the 30-year-old One Direction alum dropped his latest single “Teardrops,” a heartfelt ballad written alongside songwriter Jamie Scott and none other than JC Chasez of *NSYNC.
The track, which marks Payne’s first new single in three years, arrives nearly five years after his debut studio album LP1 and follows what Payne has called a “year long process of self-reflection” in the studio with longtime collaborator Scott.
“Teardrops is about the vulnerability of heartbreak and the challenge of overcoming those moments,” the singer said in a release.
“This song marks the start of a new beginning, there’s lots more to come in 2024.”
On Instagram, Payne shared with fans Friday that the song itself was “born from many tears, not all mine.”
“I hope you love it like I do and not too many of you can relate,” he wrote, also sharing an image of his 5-year-old son Bear Payne looking up at a promotional billboard for the track with the caption: “I want to be on a billboard one day daddy.”
Chasez, 47, commented some praise for the singer underneath one of his latest Instagram posts, too. “Congrats my guy! Was a pleasure creating with you 🙌,” he wrote.
Songwriting is familiar territory for Chasez, who has previously written for or with the likes of Taemin, NU’EST, Diplo, David Archuleta and The Cheetah Girls. Scott, on the other hand, has worked with Payne in the past on 1D fan favorites such as “Through the Dark,” “What a Feeling” and “Fools Gold.”
Last July, Chasez chopped it up with PEOPLE about how he’s now been writing for himself, too — specifically by crafting two musicals “at the same time.”
“It’s a long haul, but that doesn’t bother me at all. Again, that’s just work, which is fine. And the fun part is you just keep creating, because even with these pieces, they’re not done,” Chasez said. “They’re just at this stage, and the fun part is they’ll get better. But as far as going the distance, I’m going the distance, I’ve gone this far, I’m going all the way.”

Fittingly, the track harkens back to that late-90s/turn-of-the-millenium sound, with a somber, twinkling guitar weeping behind booming pop production. In a statement, Payne said, “’Teardrops’ is about the vulnerability of heartbreak and the challenge of overcoming those moments.
