Lance Bass wants an ‘NSYNC reunion: ‘If there’s any time, it would be right now’

Of course, all of this nostalgia has fans making their ultimate Christmas wish: for a full-fledged ‘NSYNC reunion in the new year. And Bass tells Yahoo Entertainment he’s all for it. “Look, you don’t have to ask me. I’m in! I would love to do more ‘NSYNC music. … I mean, it would be a choice. If there’s any time, it would be right now.”

So… how can we make this happen? “I don’t know,” says Bass. “I mean, it’s hard to get all five of us to agree to do anything. We’re such boys, and the communication is horrible. We’re great on text about sending silly stupid things, but when it comes down to business, it’s really hard for us to make a decision on stuff. And I mean, Justin is killing it right now. He hasn’t had a break since we recorded last.” Of course, the crazed reaction at Coachella proved that fans really want this reunion even if Timberlake isn’t on board. “It was encouraging, definitely, to see that,” says Bass. “And especially for JC [Chasez]. Because JC stayed out of the limelight a good bit since ‘NSYNC. He’s a studio cat; he loves writing for other artists. It was nice to remind people how talented he was, you know? I mean, the No. 1 trending thing after Coachella was ‘JC Chasez.’ Holy moly. His voice is one of the best male vocalists I’ve ever heard.”

Lance on his style and the *NSYNC warehouse

Yeah! No one knew about it, but it’s in Orlando and it’s huge. We have a lot of stage equipment in there, like our mechanical bulls from the PopOdyssey tour. Just weird stuff. A few years ago, we were like, “Guys we gotta clear this out. This is stupid. We’re never going to use this stuff.” So we all went in and divvied up a lot of the outfits. My mom has pretty much everything. I loved these vaudeville type outfits that we wore for our opening on the No Strings Attached tour, but I think Joey [Fatone] took all those [laughs].

Some recent pictures

Good morning everyone! ICYMI, JC, Chris, Joey and Lance have been together in some capacity over the last few weeks. JC paid Chris a visit in Nashville and then Joey, Lance and JC spent July 4th together.

We love when the boys get together so we thought we’d share some of the lovely pictures that have been posted. All photos belong to the original posters on IG.

New Capsule ETA!

The ladies of the Lance Bass Street Team held a Q&A this past weekend with Lance and asked some hard hitting questions.

When asked about Volume 3 Merchandise Capsule, Lance replied,

“The new capsule should be coming out for school time. We were supposed to get it out in April but you know us. We can’t do anything on time… so back to school it should be out.”

Check out the video of Lance answering the question and stay tuned for more clips from the ladies’ Q&A with Lance!

Lance dishes on *NSYNC reunion

“It’s great and one day hopefully we will be able to figure something out,” he continues. “It’s something we’re not talking about right now, but you never know. Since Coachella there’s been some really crazy offers come our way and it’s the first time people have given us actual offers, so we would be dumb not to talk about it.”

Bass notes that he and his bandmates (JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick) are “slow,” so while there’s a very real possibility of the four planning future projects, it’s unlikely to be within the next year. “You know how slow we are, so I don’t see this happening anytime soon,” he says. “But hopefully soon we’ll be able to discuss it and see what happens.”
