On This Day: Coachella 2019
On this day in *NSYNC history, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance joined Ariana Grande onstage during her set at Coachella. They came out as “surprise” guests during “break up with your girlfriend (i’m bored)” and continued with “Tearin’ Up My Heart.”
Speculation began on news outlets earlier that week, that JC had spoken with Ariana’s management and the rumors began to swirl! What a treat for *NSYNC fans, both that could attend or stayed up very late on the East Coast to watch the live stream.
Let’s relive that amazing performance here! (Note: it always lives on the sidebar of our website because I love it so much!)

Monday after the Masters: Celebrities hit the links in North Myrtle Beach
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — It’s been a long-running tradition here along the Grand Strand, and after a two-year hiatus, Monday after the Masters is back in North Myrtle Beach.
Darius Rucker, wrestler Ric Flair, NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, and golf legend John Daly were among the celebrities, musicians and professional athletes who set out to conquer the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort and Golf in North Myrtle Beach at the Hootie & the Blowfish Monday after the Masters.
“The Pete Dye layout is a challenging golf course, which they all look forward to playing,” said Dave Genevro, GM Barefoot Resort & Golf. “Then when you get to see the celebrities that come in and mingle with everyone, it’s a really good experience.”
At this Celebrity Pro-Am, it’s not all about the swing and it’s not all about the score. It’s all about the kids.
The tournament raises money for children’s educational programs in South Carolina through the band’s charity, the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation.
“They’ve always wanted to give back to the community. It’s always been part of their lives,” Tournament Director Paul Graham said. “As they got older and had children, they started thinking about ways they could help kids.”
The big event is also a fundraiser for the South Carolina Junior Golf Association.
“It’s more than just golf,” said Biff Lathrop with South Carolina Junior Golf Association. “It’s a life-changing experience for these kids. Teaching them how to grow up and how to act when they get a little bit older and help them through their life and be successful.”
Successful, with the help of successful fundraisers, like this one.
Since its inception, the Hootie and the Blowfish Foundation has given millions of dollars to charities that benefit children.
